The Keowee Sailing Club on Lake Keowee is located off Highway 130 in Seneca, SC.  Started in 1972, Keowee Sailing Club has 225 limited family members, those interested in joining must be sponsored by a current club member. The club has more than 100 slips and trailer spaces for approximately 50 boats.

     The Keowee Sailing Club races every other weekend all year long and hosts five or six major regattas. Two open races are the Keowee Cup on the first weekend in May and the Turket Shoot on the last weekend in November. Junior sailors race six weekends per year.
